What this site collects
Nothing. There is no analytics, no tracking of any kind, and no advertising. Nobody is counting who visits or where they came from.
Cookies
This site sets none, which is why there is no banner asking you to accept any.
Things loaded from elsewhere
Nothing on these pages is fetched from another company. The drawings, the animations and both typefaces are all served from this site, so simply reading it does not tell anyone else that you were here.
Links out
There are links to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, GIPHY and Pinterest. Following one takes you to that company, and once you are there their rules apply, not these.
The newsletter
The signup box is switched off and says so. It sends nothing anywhere, because there is nowhere yet for an address to go. If that changes, whoever stores the addresses will be named here first.
The shop
Nothing can be bought yet. When the sticker sheets go on sale, a name and address will be needed to post them, and that will be described here before it happens.
If you email
Writing to mail@spooksthecat.com means your message and your address sit in an ordinary mailbox, and are used to reply to you and nothing else. They are not added to any list.
Hosting
Wherever this site ends up being served from will keep the ordinary records a web server keeps, which usually include an IP address. That host has not been chosen yet, and this page will name it once it is.
Asking
Any question about this, including asking what is held about you or asking for it to be deleted, goes to mail@spooksthecat.com and will be answered. Spooks The Cat is responsible for this site.
